Strut tower bar hood won't close?

Strut tower
Got my strut tower brace yesterday from a Buick at the yard.
Removed the tower spacers and it fit perfectly, Put a fresh coat of paint on
it and bolted it on. What a difference in the handling of the car!
It even clears the anti-lock master cylinder cap nicely.
