Will just using lucas injector cleaner cause more smoke?

No, to the best of my knowledge it is smoke free even in that high of a concentration. If it were to smoke it'd probably be about the amount of cold winter day when the engine is cold smoke. Nothing that would be as crazy obvious as the seafoam.
