Exhaust Questions - Expert Info Needed
I have a clanking sound on my 89'* exhaust and traced it to the fact that it needs another hangar between the muffler and the Catalytic. It flexes in between and makes an irritating creaking and clanking sound when backing up, putting it in gear, and taking off. The car had the exhaust changed a few years ago.
Where is the stock exhaust hung on between the muffler and catalytic?
Was the stock Delta 88 exhaust aluminum like my 87 Bonneville'* was?

Thanks, I didn't find a pic of the exhaust hangars but nice pics of your bonny'*!
I found out I have a couple of cracks in the main pipe as well, probably resulting in the creaking noise. I guess I will be checking out the wrecking yards for the cat back piping.
