Paint Code Expert Needed
I looked at the paint code in my trunk and can't figure it out. It shows as :
WA-L9243 09243 A3967
84T 82C
I've been told some part of this specifies top color and some bottom color.

Hmmmm I know for sure that the paint codes are listed here somewhere... unless they were lost
let me search a little bit

WA9243 Gun Metal Grey the L means lower
WA3967 Generic GM White
No sure of where the white fits into this. Is there a number with a leading U or WAU or WA-U GM is ridiculous with these codes.
Bottom two are trim, interior, or wheel colors and not body paint

So there must be a trim on the body that they can use to divide into a two tone scheme. Both upper and lower of that are gun metal grey. No metallic or the 87 would be in the arrangement. I am curious where the generic GM white is?
They don't have the exact match (their p/n 47-2569-6)in my local parts store, so the closest match I could find was GM Gunmetal Metallic P/N 47-2613-0. Looks like a close match but I would like the exact match but heard they don't make it anymore.
My 89 Olds Delta 88 is grey upper and lower(same color) and grey interior(thankfully, not the horrid burgundy interior that so many olds have). No white on the car so I don't understand where that code applies.

I'd look further. I remember that gray and the "metallic" is going to be very obvious if you just touching up. Quite a few on the net to use as well.
