I added the front speakers, though looking at the rear ones they look factory.

So.....the DIC and compass going out on Bonnevilles is common? If so, they have them by the boatloads in the junkyards near me. While I doubt I'll be making another trip any time soon (getting too cold), I'll gladly pull them the next time I go if anyone needs any. I don't think any of them charge more than $30 - $35 for a gauge cluster (regardless of what car they came out of). Unless they see the compass and DIC on the Bonny ones, and become jerks about it, but I doubt it.

take that black cover off of the bottom of the speakers in the trunk, and climb in the trunk. looking up at the bottom of the speakers, you will notice a black box up there between the speakers. that is what it is.

I'm not sure yet if the cluster for the DIC is fried or the DIC module. I still have to get up the energy to cut my hand all to bits and reach behind the glove box to find the module. I do know that the Compass gauge was fine and it was the module in the trunk that was bad, so I'm hoping the whole cluster is good. I'll post more when I find out which one it is.
