Am I wrong or did some of them say "Systems Monitor" and some of them say "Driver Information" I think my 89 SE said "Driver Information." It showed which door was open, when you were out of washer fluid, low on gas, etc.

That may be the difference between the two.

But isn't that just another 80 mph speedo like you already have? Would a gauge cluster from an SSE have a higher range on its speedo?

I tested it out with no luck, so now if anyone needs a gauge cluster for an '87 w/tach, or +'89 w/ tach... ill put up pix when I get a chance... just let me know
-both are from LE models

I know Damemorder has an 87 service manual. Sounds like you have to swap some of the pins around. That'* not too hard, but you need the wiring diagrams.
