What are you referring to as "my clip"?
On my 89 the negative battery cable grounds underneath the ICM mounting plate. Another wire runs from the same location to the fender.

Again you gotta get in there and clean the grounds on the connector and tighten up on the pin sockets with a tiny screwdriver. Apply dielectric grease and see how it goes.
You would also do well to clean all the battery and groun wires as suggested earlier.

i dont know hot to get the ground wire thats under the icm off.. it seems like a long bolt that goes thru the engine and when i try to loosen it a bolt on the other side of the engine loosens instead,,,, ill post pics if no one know what im talking about,, besides that all my connections (power and ground) through the entire car are new and clean,,execpt that one...

That'* a threaded stud that goes into the front cylinder head. Let it come out. If the nut is stuck on the stud, spray it with something to break it loose, or get one from that car at the wrecker.
