okay guys, it seems as though my bonne 'll be running this weekend
. The problem that I am having now [this has been a problem for many years, but only now is it being fixed] is the side mirrors are not stable. The right hand side mirror is broken on the black plastic which it is mounted to the door [some jb weld will fix that right up, since I have no money for a replacement], but the left hand side mirror moves towards the door. I guess you could say it "folds" inwards. It doesn't do this easily [ie when driving] but if you put pressure on it, it will move about 3" inwards, until the wiring prevents it from moving further. Is this normal? I know my broken right hand side mirror does not do this, but it'* broken, and you can never trust broken parts. Oh yeah, I got my mirrors to move electronically
. thanks to some idiot having spilled liquid on the switch, causing corosion on the switches for the mirrors, and no the idiot wasn't me! lol.
