by pushing the valve on the fuel rail, there is no fuel in the rail at all.

Just about in the middle of diagram #15 it shows pnk/blk coming from fuse #17. Please double check that fuse. From there it branches off to the ICM, one side of the fuel injectors, the oil pressure switch & finally to the MIA fuel pump relay. The diagram doesn't show it clearly but I'm assuming this energizes the relay.
How’* fuse #17?
The other half of the fuel pump relay has a grn/wht wire going to the ECM & a gray wire going to the fuel pump & branching to something called "to prime connector". I'm assuming this is the test lead by the battery. It looks like you could jump the positive side of the battery to this lead & see if the fuel pump gives you fuel.
Don't bother trying this if the fuse 17 is blown.
Don't try this without a fuse in the jumper wire!
Make sure the keys are not in the ignition switch while trying this!

You will need to verify if the fuse is OK first then check the relay for a click. Then
With the engine off connect a 12v fused jumper to the pump test lead and listen for pump running noise. Let us know what you find.
If it runs then suspect a faulty relay or open between the relay and fuel pump.
The oil pressure switch can also effect fuel pump operation. If the pump test terminal is holding 12v with the engine off (test light) the oil pressure switch is bad.
