I'll get in touch with PDad and see if he as any suggestions for me. I need to do some math and figure out what my best way to go is between picking parts and rebuilding mine or buying one outright from Intense or ZZP. ZZP has a free install thing if I want to make the drive up to WI. I've got an email in to Intense to see what they'd charge.

Good luck with whatever vendor you go with. I just got my car back after a custom trans build/install. I'm pretty happy right now!

ZZP and intense used to sell Protorque converters. Intense switched over to ATI as an imporvement. Their ATI converters have been on the retail market through intense for around a month I think.
ZZP switched from protorque to an improved custom converter nearly a year ago. So far our failure rate is zero on the new converters.
The input shafts sold by ZZP have a lifetime warranty which I believe is something not offered by our comepetition. The failure rate on ZZP shafts is zero. I'm not going to slam the competition, but you may want to ask them if they have ever had one fail.
The forums have dozens and dozens of ZZP and Intense transmissions. If you want to do a search in the major market go to ClubGP.com and ask people what their experiences have been with intense trans parts and ZZP trans parts. Ask for people to post only if they have run said parts, not if they heard something from someone, etc.
At ZZP we do our best to offer a better price, better customers service, a better warranty, and better engineered parts than our competition. Our transmissions have been tested iin the highest HP cars out there including my 97 GTP which trapped 138.8 mph last time at the track.
Look into this until you have a lot of information. We'll watch for your order soon...
