ZZP AFC 2.0 VERSION
ok guys , here is one of the best little things i have had on my car yet. im presently testing a ZZP mini afc 2.0 beta maf calibrator on my car. it is totally digital. it will adjust your maf signal from 10%-255% of the original signal. its a simple install, plugs inline at the maf sensor. it also can be set to do the entire fuel curve too. it had a LED display, and sooo easy to set. im curently running a 70 mm throttle body on my 92 ssei. without it, i would have had to spend over 300 bux for a special calibrated maf. with this, i can make as many changes as i want. including injectors, overdrive pulleys, throttle body diam., even different maf sensors like the ls1 or the s10 vortec sensors that go in the intake tube instead of the throttle body. it will fit the 3 wire gm maf sensors. think of it this way. youre at the track and after a run , you check your plugs and you are running a little lean or a little rich, just go to the mini afc 2.0 and raise or lower the % and youre set. these will be available soon. definitly well worth the money to get one of these if you are serious about the performance end of you bonneville.

i have heard arounfd the $150 range when they are available. money well spent in my opinion, from what its done for my car since i have installed it and have been playing with it, its worth its weight in gold.
also, HIGH PERFORMANCE PONTIAC MAG. has done testing on it too and will be running a tech review in the near future in its mag.

here we go, 100% setting is the original signal. so if you go up from that, it will richen it up, and lower,will lean it out. , its best to have a scan tool hooked up or a air/fuel ratio meter to see exactly what its doing in the exhaust stream.

Mini-AFC 1.0 is awesome. Without a scan tool it is pretty much useless though. Mini-AFC 2.0 is supposed to be all 1.0 is, and so much more. The mini-afc has allowed us to do tuning to the SSEi and GTP to get them to run with no KR on the street, and all we had to do was flip some switches and do some testing to see if it was right, or if we needed to lean it out more, or richen it up more.
The normal setting is 100%. To lean it out you go lower, to richen it up you go higher. The GTP runs rich for some reason so we have the AFC set at 88%. The SSEi runs lean, so we have it at 105%. The AFC killed 5kr in the SSEi because it was running so lean. The AFC is a must have if you are into performance.

i have the 2.0 afc on my bonneville now. you wouldnt believe how this thing works. with the ver.1.0, you have one setting. the 2.0 has that , plus for the more experienced users, it has an enhanced mode. you can make 13 different setting. you can make a setting from 1-13 khz of airflow. plus they have installed 10 different programed fuel curves too.i have mine set at 120% from 1-6 khz, then i progressively richen it up at the top end. settings 7-13 go from121% up to136%. but you can set these for whatever works best for you. im going to the track this weekend to see if it helps me with KR. just installed new small block chevy 110 lb valve springs and retainers, a pillar pod with an autometer boost gauge and air/fuel meter, plus the zzp mini afc 2.0.
