Not at all. It is a 40% tint which is legal in the state of Maryland. The Police have the right to stop me but if they put a meter on the tint it will pass. Besides most of the police know illegal tint when they see it.

It needs to be legal. The cost to pull it off is over half the cost to put it on. The tinter stands behind his work and if the police give me a ticket he will take it off for no cost.

The best tinters do not do illegal tint or at least warn you that you will get stopped and ticketed plus you will have to remove the tint. The cost of the fine and the removal of the tint is just too high. But I am scotch and hate to pay any extra money to the state that I do not have to.
