I also had to rebuild the trans. I've spent about as much repairing it as I spent buying it, but I love it. I don't forsee ever WANTING to sell it.

1991 Beretta GT with a heap of problems. Bought it for $400 cash when I was 16. Got it all working, then a tree fell on it during a storm.

It wasn't nearly as nice as this one, but that'* the color and the wheels it had.

Was it a 50 or a 150? A V8 in a 50 would be out of this world...a slant six would be too for that matter....

Late 70'* Ford Maverick.. It was so rusty that the doors could be unlocked from the outside. Bought it for $50. and sold it two years later for $250.

My first car.... didn't look this bad:

but didn't look this good (and wasn't a station wagon):

'67 BelAir 4dr. My parents bought it for me while we lived in SC from a guy on base who restored them. Why he was getting rid of the one they bought for me i'll never know. Dad wanted 'us' to get it so we would have a car to work on and learn the ins and outs on. Much easier to work on those older engines. And the engine bay was capable of fitting a 7.0 427 V8, so my little small block 283 left us plenty of room to operate. As can be imagined, i miss that car.
