I had a 1990 Dodge Shadow ES coupe with a 2.5L 4-cylinder. The car wasn't anything special. It wasn't particularly fast (probably around 100 HP in that engine). It was a nice teal color and maybe that'* where my affinity for that color began. It also had a cool graphics package on the side that said "SHADOW" in this ninja-ish looking font. I remember it had this Kenwood CD player in it that worked okay but when it got hot it was kinda worthless. That car didn't give me too many problems. It got totaled in a rear-end collision in August of 2001. I bought it back for scrap value, and traded it to some guy for a set of tires I bought a 1990 Dodge Daytona ES from. No pictures of the "car with no name."

Well...my first car was a Chevrolet Silverado. when i was 4...i woke up on christmas day 2000 in Everett, WA. I walked into my living room, and that was it. Gives me goosebumps every time i think about it.

I'm sure i have some pics somewhere, but instead, i found this:

JUST like that one. same color, stickers, foot-steppers. drove it for 6 years till i lay it sit in our backyard. last time a drove it, only 1 motor worked. in 2008, we cut it up, stuffed it in the trash bin, and that was that
That moment i walked into the living room was like somebody shooting a shotgun Full of GM into my heart. GM is still there.

My mom used to have a red Geo Metro too!
Also, one of my high school teachers had one, we used to laugh at him because it was so small - but then gas prices went up like crazy, and he was the one laughing.

Anyhow, I still have my first car!
My 1995 Buick Park Avenue (base, not ultra).
I got it in August 2005 from, yes, my grandparents.

I think it had about 98,000 miles on it when it was given to me. It now has about 145,000.

My second car and my worst car was a white 1994 Geo Metro XFI. It was junk. Lasted 3 days, then I gave up on it.

My first car was a 1981 VW Cabby (the truck). I got it from a friends dad after he tried to start it and it wouldn't start. He also complained about the battery always going dead. Went down to the library and copied off the wiring schematics. Found out VW uses Brown for ground and not black. That'* what the problem was.
I drove that truck for 7 years until it fell apart. No really, One morning I went to go to work and the engine was on the driveway because the engine mounts had rusted through.
Like I've posted in a few threads before this, My Park Ave is my first American car.

My first car is my 96 LeSexy, march 28 will be 4 years that ive owned this wonderful car.. been through soo much, so many good memories. I remember my mom telling me that her and dad found a cherry buick lesabre (which is what i wanted) had 96,000 on it in 2007, she wouldnt let me skip school to go get it. So when i got out of school she had it in the parking lot waiting for me the first thing i did when i got in it was honk the horn and that started a whole frenzy of honks from other students LOL. It was a dealer car and the man that owned it was a mechanic so im the 2nd owner. I love my car.
