I have no reason to believe that it'* not. I only ever had a pan drop on it once, along with a couple instances of exchanging what fluid I could pump out. It'* also not showing any signs of letting up either at this point.
Amazing, That is a lot of miles, & I expected you did the trans fluid more than once..good work!
Did you ever use Dex 6?

I can't remember if I used Dex6 when I did the pan drop, but I have been using it exclusively since I found out about it. I also have like 20 bottles of the stuff that I picked up right before Walmart phased it out. I have also used the Lucas transmission treatment a couple of times too. I also swapped the stock regulator with an after market adjustable unit early on too, which was cranked up by 3/4 for firmer shifts, and not touched since.
Dexron 6 synthetic,is definitely an upgrade over the old fluids.I now use sea foam trans tune ( a great cleaner) for 300 miles before doing the pan drops.
How did you discover an adjustable aftermarket regulator..interesting!
Thanks to Danthurs,I kept the OE but really cleaned up the accumulator bores w/1000-2000 Emory cloth & then installed the new springs & spacers, way firmer shifts!

It'* a 4t-60 thing, picked up from the old forum days. The 4t-60 controls line pressure, and in turn shift firmness with a vacuum controlled modulator on the front of the transmission. Aftermarket replacements tend to be adjustable also.
On "Counting Cars", when Danny has a cash flow problem, he has to sell one of his refinished "babies".....more than once he has pulled the car off the trailer, rather than sell it...
My 1997 4T60 has an adjustable regulator too. Any quality unit for these is usually adjustable these days. I adjusted mine to firm up the shifts a bit just so I knew that it isn't slightly softer and I didn't notice.
