OH my! That is the worst rear damage I've ever seen! I am totally impressed with how the car took that impact....makes me feel safer having my kids in the backseat now, that is for sure... I'm so glad you are okay!

Damn! I am glad you where able to walk away from that wreck and hope you don't feel alot of pain in a couple of days. It looks to me that the guy was driving a work truck(probably his company) and most likely will have some sort of paperwork or something with his name on it. Go recover from this mess and things will get back to normal in due time.

There'* a guy on the phone in of the of the pictures, who'* that? If that'* the DUI driver...give the picture to the cop.

How long will the BAC stay in the blood system? If they catch him asap, maybe they still can prove DUI?

Sue, sue, sue and sue (DUI drivers really grind my gears)

Do Not sign anything!!!!!!!!!! After getting rearended a couple of years ago with my grandma, we felt fine. About two days later I started to get bad kinks in my neck and it was always sore. Be happy that you are for the most part ok. That is one heck of an accident. I still cant believe how these cars hold up, our accident was in a 1993 LeSabre. It took a blow but no where near one like this and it was fairly beat up.

I think most insurance companies have Leaving the scene of an accident included in their rejection clauses. Problem is, the guy is probably uninsured anyways, so you get no joy from that.
