Default So a bit has changed..

On my 2000 Impala LS? Long story short, a roller at intake on cylinder 4 decided to crack.. took out the cam and oil pump. Rest of the engine was fine. I'd never done an engine pull or rebuild before so I decided hell with it.. did everything except the rotating assembly.

GTP cam, new oil pump and timing chain, new head gaskets as well as all other o-rings/gaskets top to bottom and front to back. Painted everything. New oil pan, Camaro V6 valvecovers, etcetera.

I don't have many of the in between, so here'* the finished product after rebuild.

So then, a few weeks later.. I hear creaking coming from the back end. Pulled back trunk carpet to check out strut mounts. They weren't in too bad of shape as you can see.

So I decided GM parts would be best to repair the strut mounts.

Here'* how it sat at the dealership after having the new strut mounts installed.

I decided to have the tint re done..

OK.. so I traded it on that.

Here'* how it sits recently.

Out with a few friends. Close friends have the Mustang and the gray Challenger, best friend has the yellow 392 Super Bee. A female friend of mine drives the GA GT.

Current mods are ZZP FWI, ZZP 3" DP / 3" Cat, relocated horn so FWI could be installed, soon to be getting SD headers with 3" downpipe and a tune. Would like a pulley. Also just rebuilt the trans and did the brakes last night.

I went to do a pad slap and realized there were a bunch of cold spots and uneven rotor wear. So I decided to do heavy duty rotors and ceramic pads and throw some paint on everything to make it look pretty.

Went from that to this.

Looks good overall IMO, adds a little personality

Need to do the backs.
