Growing up, I absolutely admired Eddie Van Halen; he had/has a style of his own. He was innovative, and was never satisfied with one style so he tried to invent new ways to find that right sound including using the pickups from a Les Paul into a Strat.... to modifying the amp to get a weird sound of distortion.
He'* suffered from throat cancer to a marriage break up. In the video of which he'* in rare form and I've never seen him like this before, he seems a bit lost or just on Meth. Or maybe Eddie sold his soul to the devil and now the devils just cashing in a little early

I'd have to say that'* not the best I've seen him play although he'* got tremendous potential I heard yesterday that he'* getting back together with David Lee Roth and touring again this year. I wish him that best and hopefully I have the privilege to see him play in concert this year. One day if I could only play half as well as him it would be a dream come true.
