L67 Lesabre T-type
So I am finally getting back to my T and this site! It has been some time since I have done any work to it. Life kinda got hectic and it had to be put on hold. Currnetly balancing time and $$ between the T, fixing my bike from the wreck, and my daily Lincoln LS.
Anyway this is this weekends project:
Wire in fuel pump, and install gas tank and filler.
Install A-arms, rear sway, rear struts and springs.
I am still figuring out the rear disc conversions (hoping George gets back to me)
Current hiccup is that I have seemed to mis place the large nuts that bolt the strut to the strut mount, anyone have any laying around I could get?

I hope to have more frequent updates soon.

everybody throws the old ones out, i had a strut not come with one, and i went around looking for one at the hardware store, parts stores, ended up going back to the place i bought it from and opening up other ones for the nut, which is probably what happened to mine. aside from the dealer or going to a junk yard i cant think of anywhere
I'm glad to see this project is back on! I wouldn't get a used one from a junkyard if I already have to buy new parts, but I've reused those nuts and bolts without much happening. The torque spec is something like 160 ft-lbs, so I assumed it should all hold. You're talking about the huge bolt with the splines on its shaft, right?
I got a little more done this evening on the T. I finished wiring in the new weatherpack connectors so that I can run the grand national fuel pump hot wire kit. I also got the pump all assembled and put in the tank and the tank is ready to install tomorrow. I hope to have the tank and lower control arms and possibly the struts all installed tomorrow. In order to use the GN hot wire kit which provides more voltage and more consistent voltage to the pump I had to go from a 4 port weather pack connection to a 3 port. On the Lesabre there are 2 grounds. One for the sending unit and another for the pump. I just combined them. Oh dont worry the heat shrink in on the pump connection that will be in the tank is gasoline safe. Now on to the next step...
