Doors are almost perfect, original paint, no pinstripe. But you'd have to wait until I know what I'm replacing her with...don't want to sell anything I might wind up needing!

Eerie that you whacked yours within a month of mine getting whacked - January 312007 (a day that will live in infamy).

Good news is, due to the "White Bonnie Curse" you should be able to find plenty of white bonnie parts in the yards. :P

Sorry to see that. I saw some of that brownish color around your busted healight in the first pic, and my first thought was, "Eww, he hit a deer." Then I read your post. That coloring come from the trees then? Or some mud?

brown coloring was the trees...the car splintered the mess out of 'em, but the trees splintered off and stabbed back

is yours totaled? like damage looks like its probably more than cosmetic. but yeah if there ever was a parts car i guess that'd be it as far as ive seen, out of curiosity...is your interior tan?

yeah, i might still be looking for another set of doors and fender, im definatly still looking for another bumper cover and maybe another bumper reinforcement...but no rush since what i got works for now...the rest will just happen as find a deal here and there...

and man is alignment a PITA, the rear door i think is as near perfect as i can get, the front door NEEDs to go back and up a little but dad and I cant get it to go (yet). the fender is clipping the door sometimes(its chipping away at the fender and the door), the fender is all the way forward it can go without misaligning with the hood...

its gonna be a long road if i get Guinevere back to the condition she was in cosmetically... :?

thats what i get for being dumb though

hey...i still have a CAI to install

I did the EXACT same thing you did when I was 26 in a new Corvette. It was the first cool car I ever owned -(and was black, of course). I never got it totally fixed. It was very sad. Couldn't afford the insurance if I made a claim, and couldn't afford all the repairs. I was in a bad way. Sold the car for a big loss.
It'* great to see you getting it back into shape. Keep going. Lessons learned won't kill ya.

Yep. That'* the last time she'll ever see the road. Air bag deployment is like a bullet to the brain on a car that old, as far as the insurance company is concerned. Passenger airbag tends to take out the windshield in our cars. Then there'* the front end damage...lots of little busted parts up there. She'* toast.

No, I got the good color interior...grey. With the exception of the trashed leather on the front seats and carpet that was due for a cleaning, the interior was very good.
