god, those small rear windows seem to be their favorite.
Maybe they think they are doing a favor by choosing the cheapest window to replace. None the less i'd like to catch one of them ******** in the act someday.

Not really....Seeing how you have to have the keyless entry system for the alarm to go off when the door is opened from the inside but locked with the fob.

At least that'* the way it is for my car, maybe different on an SE.

If it was armed. When the vandals opened the door the alarm would have gone off.

I actually think that the smaller, fixed window may be easier to break. No facts to support this, just thinking that a larger, unfixed window will have more flex, taking more force/effort to break.

No personal experience...

It'* less visible if most of it is broken out. And it'* not the easiest to break. Morty swung a hammer at one.. ohhhhh 20 times before he broke it.. which was slightly ahead of Pat 27 swings..

at least they didn't bust up your console. back a couple years ago same thing happened to my camaro. the pryed the windowtop open (no top to door on camaros), slipped their arm in and then busted the whole center console up to get the stereo. had to replace the console, trim, and HVAC cause they gouged up the face of it. total to replace all was like $550 bucks and the deductible was $500. ended up just paying for it myself. I keep thinking if I had caught the guy in the act I would probably be in jail cause he would have needed reconstructive surgery when I got done with him

Well, the window is being overnighted to Abra, and I have an appointment to get it put back at 8:30 tomorrow morning. That stupid window is probably the most expensive piece of glass on the car, looks like 300 bucks according to the Magic Book I have. And nobody has it in stock.

And, the tunes are back already

200 bucks with evrything needed to pop it right in.

Still kinda pissed, but at least things are looking up.....

You aren't going to leave that in tonight with a missing window right?
