wow. Just got home and found out about this. Glad to hear he is OK and the bonnie saved him.
If you find out the price the Insurance Company wants for the car, I might be interested in purchasing it as a whole for parts for another project. (L67 sunbird??)
let me know. and if you choose to part it, I'll come out and help.

Nick glad to see your ok.! I too dread that call or knock at the door (my daughter drives my 94) and this is her first winter driving that car.
Tracy that car looks fixable, but at the same time you can probably get a nice daily driver for Nick for what you'll be shelling out to fix er up. My collision with a deer didn't look that bad and my car was 9 g'* to repair! (7g'* American.)
I'm surprised with that impact the air bag(*) didn't deploy? I wonder why.....that fender he wiped out houses one of the impact sensors. Just as well, that would mean a lot more cost to repair anyways, and by the sounds of it he didn't need the protection anyways!
Nick........3 strikes and your out buddy! No more muligans!!!!!

FakeCanadian - sorry I wasn't clear about the leaving the scene. He called his dad for a ride and left the car there Both tires are blown of the rims. (brand new tires I might add!)
Geoff - will keep that in mind. Thanks!

Tracy, I thought about it again and figured he left the car there. Was he planning on going back to the car at all...at least to make sure it got towed? I don't get why his dad allowed him to leave the scene. :? No need to expand on it though.

Wow, Tracy. Glad to hear Nick is ok. The Bonne did it'* job and took care of your son. I can only imagine what went through your mind when you first found out.
