I have a car for sale!
It'* not a Bonne though. But it IS 'new.'
With my experience of body shop repairs, I'd say there'* at least $4000 in visible damage from those pics. Unless it were to be repaired by yourself with JY parts. An insurance co. would probably total it as the car is worth less than $2600. But let'* see what they say.

I've created a topic to discuss possible cars for him to consider...
If you know of cars, have a car, or would like to offer advice on those available, please go here:

Btw, I'm glad he wasn't hurt but maybe that'* what he needs.
A $500. beater is appropriate now.
Something like a 1985 cough... Honda

What was the outcome of his leaving the scene?
At least he is OK. Like said already a few times, every paent hates that early morning wake-up by the local police.
Nick...Glad you're OK!

No tickets! He explained to them he was cold and didn't realize he had to stay since he had already called it in. It was about 10 degrees out...?? I'm surprised they didn't nail him for something...but he told the truth and that makes a world of difference. Cops are good at sniffing out the liars.

Well, I wondered about that, since it didn't involve another vehicle and he DID call it in.
Telling the truth has usually worked for me to, but not always, lol.
