This is a really old pic. I've cleaned it up quite a bit since then. I've got some space back there so the pass-thru isn't totally useless.

Its fiberboard....i read on a car audio website that you can use fiberboard...I would have used MDF or whatever, but my neighbor gave the fiberboard to me. He also gave my the carpet and helped me work on it. Look for a new thread with the finished pics coming soon. I even installed the amp, and everything looks soooo sweet.

fiberboard will work with low powered systems but it wont hold very well for 500 watts or more im guessing. but hey if ur on a limited budget and the price was right on the wood and carpet then it doesnt matter how it look cuz all that matter is if u lik ehow it sounds.
some poeple like bass that rattles ur brain and make ur ears hurt me personally i like to me able to hear and feel it with out causeing damage.

you can feel/hear the subs just enough, and the same with the speakers in the car. I had the volume turned up about halfway, and the subs could be felt in all seats of the car, and were messing up my mirrors. they get plenty load for my taste. I dont want to go deaf by the time i'm 40.
