as for the tinting its different everywhere, when i lived in Edmonton i tinted my GP for 180 bucks front and back, now i live in Fort McMurray last year the cheapest i found was 420 and thats how much i had to pay, now with the recession it dropped down to $350 for the full car, but im sure itll be cheaper there
i dont think window tinting is something i would wanna do, but im sure you can find precut kits online and maybe you can do them
how hard was it to install the films? i bought one kit over 4 months ago and i couldnt put them on, i had my friend helping me but we used the heat gun for tinting so im assuming thats why we failed, it was too hot.. i just re ordered a set and imma try to install it using a blow dryer.. any tips?
Yeah, I have some tips. Use lightly soapy water in a spray bottle. Spray a very light layer on top of the headlight lens after cleaning it. It should be enough to allow the film to shift around easily.

Then, start with the center. Use a hair dryer to heat and stretch vertically. Keep inching toward the center of the car as you stretch vertically. You will need to stretch a bit width wise, but that will happen almost naturally. Then start with the other half. Use a lot of heat constantly to keep it flexible.

Don't overdo the soapy water as it takes a while to dry up underneath and the film won't stick to the lens surface, and it won't stay stretched, and you'll be there for a very long time with a hair dryer waiting for that soapy water to dry up. All you need is a thin layer. Use the hair dryer on max heat, max fan.

I would also advise making sure you get all the air bubbles out during this process, as I didn't, and I might have to go pinch them with a needle to get the air out.

That L27 was an awesome engine. Extremely easy to work on, very reliable, but ultimately too slow for what I wanted out of the car. I loved that engine.

Thanks man. I can't wait to drive it for the first time! Its still getting the L67 swap done, so I should be picking it up some time in the beginning of September. We should have a September meet, so I'll be bringing it to that for sure.
