Gunner so unselfishly sent me a phone since my touch screen on my Chocolate Touch no longer works...
The only phones ive used are phones i have gotten straight from Verizon. So how do i add a used to phone?
Also: I had a guy email me about trading me a Blackberry 8830 World Edition and another Blackberry for a subwoofer... Well i watched a review on the 8830 on youtube and he states that u cant activate a Blackberry unless u paid full price for it... can u help me please?
Im pretty sure i got the regular phone thing handled but what about the Blackberry thing?

Can i activate a used Blackberry?

Yep! Been with Verizon since 93
Go to Verizonwireless.com and type in your username password (if you dont have one.. register.
Under DEVICE, click on the button that says ACTIVATE A DEVICE
Select your phone number (for those that have more than one line on the account, if you only have 1 line then you don't have to worry about choosing the right number.)
Click on the NEXT arrow
And click on next again
To the right of where it says "New ESN/MEID: " type in the ESN number found on the back of the phone (you have to remove the battery for this)
Click continue.
If you are switching from a non smart phone to a smart phone, this will not work. You must call Verizon from another number, but NOT from the phone yo uare trying to activate.
Smart phones have to have special packages added in order to make them work.
Thank you for calling Tech support. LOL
