heh, I'm remembering more and more turbo stuff as I go on.

Are you doing any 'turbo timer' of any sorts? It'* important that you let the car idle and cool down the turbo a bit for a little while after a drive, the turbo timer is just like an inverse remote starter that lets the car sit and cool while you walk away. Temps are more finicky with a turbo than a blower I'd assume, always get up to full operating temp before boosting too, but I'm sure you know that one

How about "priming the turbo" on oil changes?

no need for turbo timer, just sit in the car an extra five minutes before you shut it off. NEVER shut it off right away

Thanks Alien.....

As for the timer to cool the turbo, we are installed extra fans, with probably a timer on them to aid in keeping the turbo cool.

What do you mean extra fans? Like fans that are pointing directly at the turbo?

Because the reason you have to let them run at idle after driving.....ESPECIALLY hard driving ( ) Is because the hot oil sitting in the turbo wrecks the waste gates...

If you're gonna just add extra fans to the radiator, it will help...To a certain extent.
