Well, That is once NICE looking Chevelle. Kinda sad that it hasn't been out of the barn in 5 years. If you have a car like that, you should enjoy it.
I am actually glad that my Chevelle is just a plain jane (mock SS) Chevelle with a 350SB (see sig). That means that I have no reservations when it comes time for the frame off restoration and customization (distant future). Those LS6 Chevelles are nice if you are a collector, but I hate to see them just sitting there because you are 'afraid' to put it out onto the road.
Cars are meant to be driven, not put away and idolized.

well he is selling the "hay burner" to build a new tractor. and is planning to rerestore the car but dont forget being a limited build car that it is its worth a pretty penny. o and red isnt the cars original color it should be silver the rarest of them all, the story on the car is a guy bought it and when his wife made him choose the chevelle of the 57 chevy well he chose the 57 chevy well the chevelle wasnt in the best shape so i friend got it and restored it not knowing that the car was oringanly silver but the last owner painted it red well my friend re painted it red, so when he does his next restoreation he is gonna totally gonna strip the paint and is gonna go by the factory rpo numbers. but he hasnt set a date on the rerestoration he want to keep building and racing tractors and when he gets older and gets sick of tractors he will do the car but yeah its sad to see a rare car like that just sitting their but i have talked him in to showing it and becoming a trailer queen and is gonna get cleaned up enough to show. so good news is its not gonna sit as much its gonna be show only and he said i possibly might get to drive it.
