When I sold it I already had my 97 SE (current) Bonneville, and my wife had her (then) 88 Grand Prix (now has an `01 GT). In my townhome I only had room for two vehicles, and I was getting tired of paying for the registration and insurance on the `78, not to mention maintenance and gasoline. It was really the least I could do for a friend, and I did make him promise to offer it back to me for $1 first, but in the end I just didn't have a need for it or a use for it, nor did I want the expense of it. It was a great car, and I kept it running well, so I figure it will make someone who needs an inexpensive car a good vehicle. Heck, maybe they'll join the forum someday! -I very well may call the tow shop that sold it and see if I can find out who bought it, because I still have a spare hub cap for it.

Thats how it should be, in it to help people out. I'm into cars for the hobby aspect of it, too many people are into it for the money. I have a nice car collection, including, but not limited to, my Bonneville, a 65 Mustang Fastback, a 67 Mustang Coupe, a 67 plymouth Satellite, a 68 Road Runner, a 73 Cuda, an 82 El Camino "rat rod", a couple Cadillacs, etc. Sure, I'll sell a car here or there, often just to break even, and more important, to make room for the next one! My Bonneville is actually for sale, as it takes up lots of space. I'm mot looking to get rich on the sale, but I did price it on the high side, because deep down, I love the looks of it, it has class. Here is a couple pics of my hobby....

Thanks guys, the Cuda is a 340 automatic, nice original California car. She'* a head turner, probably the nicest, most valuable car I've owned, as of yet.
