Think about the electro magnet holding a little peice of metal with the whole thing spinning so fast, that the little metal peice ends up weighing 1000x more than the electromagnet was designed to hold :?
this thing would have to be all solid state really and built in something that balances things correctly.
And i like solar, but its so inefficient and chances are really good that the sun wouldnt hit the wheels that often.

hey, we should sell this idea to a company that sells wheel covers, let their engineers mess with it
