I understand flow vs pressure, that is why I wanted to know what size pulley you were running and boost so I can see how much different approx your car flowed vs mine.

The way your talking about boost stacking makes it sound like every boosted car stacks. Basically EVERY car will have resistance in flow or else you wouldn't make boost.

I understand your saying if I open up the airways I won't generate as much heat, but you can only do so much. And if this is my problem, then instead of dropping pulley sizes and losing power I should go to a bigger supercharger, so even if I do have the same restriction, the supercharger will have more surface area to keep it cooler, and still run at lower rpms while overcome the powerloss.

The walls on the car assuming I don't have them bored out (which I don't plan on it to keep the strength) are amazingly thick for a four cylinder, they are fine up to 900 Hp at the wheels, and that isn't just anyone saying that, that'* what GM was able to get out of them without having to resleeve it to attain their 1400 HP Cobalt. But their Cobalt is turbo, so I don't plan to expect getting to 900 anytime soon. More like want to get 4-500, which is only a 30-60% increase in power I have now. easily attainable, but I want some reliability, and I just don't think the m62 will be able to handle that.

BTW I don't use a AFC those are crap. I adjust all the fuel with the tune.

Yes the displacement of a 4.0 is greater than a 2.0, but there are ways to overcome that, one RPM, and second is air pressure, and third is compression.

You can't tell me that a 1400 hp 2.0 liter Cobalt doesn't flow the same as a 1400 hp 454 big block. They both are using boost to get there. That statement is why I feel I need a bigger supercharger. the mustangs run a m62 at 500 hp, so for me to get there I would need higher compression, and more air being compressed to squeeze in my engine...

BTW what do you mean sounds like a turbo lol, mine screams loud, and my gf'* turbo sounds quieter lol.

And are you saying people run same boost levels with a slightly larger pulley switching from a m62 to a m90 or m62 to a newer m62.

Thank you
