need high out put alternator for my 2000 bonn - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Heres a link i found on the Domestic Performance website
http://www.domesticperformance.com/p...products_id=83

its a 160amp alternator, that is about a 40 or so amp improvement over stock. Im guessing it is about 120 stock maybe 110

and who know when you will get it??

your best bet is to find a place near you where you can buy a H.O. alternator

The GTP alternator should be the same one. I know you can get a 160 amp from PFYC for a GTP. The stock alternator should be 105 amp.
