Max Torque: 300.1 ft.lbs @ 5600 RPM

I owned a 2005 Bonneville GXP and in spite of the specs I think that infiniti will take it. I almost bought one many years ago when they were new and the car flew. I dont remember any VVT but it was quick to rev just the same.

Actually, the GXP would take it stock for stock. I drove a Q45 (almost bought one), and they are just ever so slightly quicker than my '92. I would say the Q45 is around a 7.4-7.5 0-60 stock.

EDIT - I was off a bit

1994 Infiniti Q45t

0-60 - 7.2
1/4 Mile - 15.4

His isn't a "t", so it will be a hair slower.

4039 lb curb weight
And the t is actually slightly slower than the base model, but only due to the added weight from the 4-wheel steering system. And if anyone with a GXP knows a public raceway in norcal, we can settle the "which is quicker" argument.

They probably didn't know you were racing . Though, I could probably get stomped by a mildly modded SSEi... This car is fat.

Back in HS I knew a kid with one of those. I loved it but they tend to loose power over time if you rag on it. I don't know if they loose compression or what. When he got it from his dad it felt almost as fast as a SSEi but after 2 years it felt like a 3.1L. But he beat the sh*t out of it, so don't beat it.

Yeah, you can't treat a high compression aluminum engine like a cheap *****. I plan to take damn good care of this car.
