No, not confused, I understand the aerodynamics. But I am impressed. Any AD'* on those unique flaps?

No Ad'* on the leading-edge slats or slotted flaps, however there is an AD on the wing carry-thru that has been addressed

Nice 172! That'* what I learned to fly in. I always loved STOL practice with the trusty Cessna!

Have you ever flown a 150/152? I did one time, it was like trying to fly a wheelbarrow compared to the 172.
