Default My Other-Better Half

I am a noob here and got lost in another universe for a while. Got distracted and well with these pics you can see why. My 03 Bonnie seems to be ok for 67k miles. Nice on gas and very confortable to ridein. When the wife and I go on trips I use the heated seat in her ride to help the old back out. If we can manage some extra time before this racing season is over then the wife or I should be able to squeek out a 12 soomething 1/4 mile on this "Stock" Bolt-On Quiet Charger.

What wheels are on the Charger HotRod? They look alot like Stock GXP wheels. Is that color called "Plum Crazy"?

If you want a 12s car, you better look at some better tires. Drag radials at the least, slicks at best. Nice looking car though.

That is Plum Crazy Pearlcoat Purple paint. The wheels are stock 20" Chrome Clads. If you notice closely on the pic above that was a .001 reaction time. Both stage, pre-stage lites lit along with the green. Blew the stock tires off it and it short shifted into second. Best time on 18" Nittos DR'*, 13.1 @ 105.23

Those are both big wheels for the strip. I have 17" dr and 15" slicks.

Here is a link to the wifes photbucket. Plenty of purple pics and drag racing videos at the track. I guess it is time to bracket race the wife now using my DD Bonnie..she would have to catch up.

The 20" do weight a bit too much and the SRT'* we have now are lighter but the next time out will be using a lightweight set of rustang rims for the 17'" DR'*.

I love the Plum Crazy. Best friend in High School had it on his Challenger stock. I had my 65 Satellite convertible painted it years later. As my 3 year old Red Candy top coat is clearing from the sunlight, (All translucent Candy'* bleach with age/sunlight exposure). I have been toying with having the car wet sanded and a light purple candy applied, the silver marbelizing is beginning to peek through the red.
