It was a 2006 Monte Carlo SS "Pace Car Edition". The way it sat was the way it was bought brand new off the showroom floor. Converted by American Vans INC, it was one of 1,000 MC SS cars to bear the NASCAR badge.

Mods they did included:
20 inch Cragar wheels
NASCAR badging
Full racing stripes (any other stripe kit you could buy was not as extensive)
Hood scoop
Flowmaster exhaust with a resonator delete
Custom two-tone leather interior
Carbon fiber on the dash and doors.

Thanks, I miss it. I loved the power that car had. That'* why when the wife came home from Iraq and told me to get rid of it, I knew I wanted at least a supercharged 3800. I was looking online for 2 weeks at 05 Monte Carlos SS and Impala SS, GTPs, and SSEi'*. It was between the SSEi I have now or a black 05 Impala SS. The Bonne won for three reasons. 1) Less miles, 2) Closer, and 3) less money.

With my wife getting out of the Military soon, we will be living on only one pay check, and had to cut expenses. That car payment was $400 a month where as the Bonne is only $165.
