Default It'* been awhile..97 LSX Z28

It'* been a long time since I've been on here. This is what I've been up to for the past year. Some of you may remember when I got this car, it turned into a nightmare really fast, but it'* almost back on the road. Hopefully I can get back to the Bonneville soon.

Almost ready.

5.3

Going back in the first time.

Welcome back!
That motor looks good, LS4 5.3L right?
You modding it any?
Not that it needs to be modded.

Thanks. I don't know if I can technically call it an ls4 since it'* not an aluminum block and the ls4 has a shorter crank. This 5.3 has been fairly modded. Here'* the list:
230/236 duration .591/.601 lift 112lsa Hawks 3rd Gen Sinister cam
Advanced induction 219cc port and polished 241 heads.
PRC Double beehive valve springs
Comp Cams Trunion kitted ls1 rockers
TSP stock length pushrods rods
LS7 lifters
LS2 Timing set
LS6 HP oil pump
Pacesetter ceramic long tube headers
F.A.*.T 92 intake
92mm tb
SLP MAF
L67 injectors (42lbs with a 255lph walboro fuel pump)
Professional Products fuel rails (until I can afford FAST rails)
Stage 4 Monster Clutch and flywheel
Full 3 inch exhaust with off road y-pipe.
Full stock bottom end with less than 100k miles on it.
The motor came out of an 04 z71 suburban.

Ahhh nice, an amalgamation of a motor so to speak, sounds like you have put a lot of time and thought into what you wanted.

Well, I kinda had to. These Ls based engines aren't cheap to build like the old sbc'*. Eventually this will all get pulled back out and a fully forged 5.3 with at least one snail will get put back in. That'll be after the Ford 9" rear goes in and the t56 gets built to handle more power. Right now I'm just hoping for 430rwhp. More than likely it'll only have 390rwhp though.

It'* going in for a dyno tune as soon as the money is available. During my time away from here I moved 4hrs from home, started a new job, and bought a house so money is kinda scarce lol.
