Just a note for our guy'* who are over there:

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, GO OVER THERE (SHO forums or any other for that matter) AND EVEN SO MUCH AS PUT THE SMALLEST RIPPLE IN THEIR LAKE!!!! WE, NOR THEY, DO NOT NEED CROSS-FLAMMING, NOR MEMBERS JUMPING SHIPS FOR THAT REASON.
THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT UP BEFORE AND IS A MAJOR RULE OF THIS FORUM!
KEEP IT TO BROWSING IF ONE MUST BE THERE.

That being said, I have encountered a few manual tranny SHO'*, none of which have shown me tail. Even had one with a full exhaust, intake and a couple other goodies the guy was telling me (cool, knowledgeable guy who was very much impressed with the Bonneville).

My bud here has a 94 SHO 5 speed. Yes it is fast. It used to give me a run but now he gets beat. :P
He runs about 14.5 sec in the 1/4.
I believe that race was with a near stock SC SSEi but the level of mods to the SSEi may have been only a K&N filter. :P

I finally got a chance to watch that video (my computer is a dial up and my bro is a DSL) the bonneville clearly won by a half car length. It was indeed a close call but the bonne won!

Here'* the thing with that forum. Everyone there is so young and immature it'* unbelievable. When I got on there, many moons ago (back in like 1999 or 2000), it was 100% mature and full of gear heads that knew what the hell they were talking about. Now it'* full of kids that have nothing better to do than start arguements and bicker. We are a much more calm, cool, and collected bunch of individuals here on BC, which is great. The childish forum of the SHO resulted in the making of a new one, which I was a part of the idea, in where none of that crap is tolerated. The people on the newer forum are actually mostly from SHOforum but are the ones that couldn't stand all the games.
