94 SE vs Taurus SHO (Early 90'*)
Last friday I came to a stop light, and I saw an SHO, white, duel exhaust. He had been driving around the strip rather quickly the whole night that I saw him. I get to a red light, and ask him if he wants to run em. He says sure with a grin, and says he will win.
Light turns green, we both step it down. Tires are smoking on both of our cars. Speed limit is 30. I take him on the start, and continue to pull away up till about 60. I slow down and he pulls up to me. His friend laughin, we spun through third gear! I asked him if he wanted to try again at the next red. We go through a green, and come to another red. Again, we put it down as it turns green. I have him in the start, and continue to take him. I believe we were doing approx. 70 miles per hour. It was now in a 40 MPH speed limit. I had him taken by about a half car lengh and was pulling away when a truck pulls out in front of me. I have to slam on the breaks. The oher guy left town, and I didn't see him the rest of the night.
Now is it my fault that it was sort of wet out, and he sat there and spun? HAHA nope

guys, i was with on this ride.... i jus wanna say to be fair to the SHO, in a 1/4 mile or above, he woulda spanked us pretty bad... it was a 5 speed! and he was quik. but adam, yer car is pretty fast!

Ya my brother has a SHO. Stock 0-60 is 6.7. Those SHO'* with a 5-speed are fast as hell. His car will spank ours, if he can take off right. SHO'* have no low end torque, so he would have to take off right to get a good launch. 220 HP, and 200 Lb. feet of torque is what SHO'* have.
