nahh....that was a very very fast 6 second count then
its 6 sec every time i count it... cell phone stop watch.. even with the wheel spin...

moment the speedo moves to 60 is exactly 6 sec



ovbiously i still need to go to school and learn how to count huh?

Thanks for all the replies, nice to have a thread where we can compare 0-60 times. Some people'* cars here are pretty quick.

jr's3800, this engine really has a unique sound doesn't it?

Ok, got some new clips today. Timed the Aurora again today and got 7.4 seconds 0-60 today! I ran premium in it for the first time ever on a 0-60 run.. It got nearly the same time as the SSEi did! It hit 95 by 15.8 seconds.

and here'* the SSEi. I'd guess without the wheel spin it'd be closer to 7 flat. It FEELS a lot faster when driving it, until it gets up to 50 MPH.. then the Aurora actually accelerates faster. It hit 85 in 15 seconds. All that torque is kind of useless when the tires spin so much though. They finally caught at 30 MPH.

In this video i was showing how fast i can get the tranny to change. So in first gear was not WOT. It could have went a tad bit faster.

Yes it does... I think it has a lot to do with the small Throttle Body and our Log shaped intake with short runners, Makes for some really nice monster low end torque tho don't it..
I wish i had the $500 I need to get my lesabre back on the road
