I have an 8 inch. Saves alot of waxing elbow grease. And like Dan said dirty bonnets are a fast track to swirl marks. Speaking of, I want to "graduate" to a polisher this year if the rain quits and I get around to playing with all my toys.

If your going rotary, get a good one with good torque. Otherwise it will have problems at low speeds.

It'* a wiring question that the guy has been trying to get a hold of me for two weeks on, have him hold about 4 times in the hour to stack up a second call and in the midst of two people being on hold a guy stops in says he lives down the road and he'* moving, selling tools. Buddy and I head over later and see what he'* got.

Snap on, MAC, craftsman, chinese. Spent some moola and took away a pretty good haul of almost all Snap On/Blue Point. I'll get a picture up soon.

I did a little when I opened his box. It was an odd assortment though. Some snap, mac, craftsman and there was taiwan and china mixed in. WTF?

He must have started with the cheep stuff and built up from there.

Guy was a drunk. He told us he went through a 1.75L a day for years until his liver gave out. Didn't say he was sober and his breath was like lighter fluid.

He is retired and seems to have sold some before or something, probably recently picked up the cheap stuff. Just odd...
