Default 2000 SSEI starts then dies (fixed)

Yesterday after I filled my car(first time since January) after leaving the gas station the car immediately stalled out and the battery light came on. I got the thing to start up if I had the accelerator down, but then it just bogs out. I noticed some steam come from the exhaust and a pretty crappy smell. Since it sat all winter, and I did run the car pretty low yesterday, is there a chance that there is some water in the fuel system? my first guess was a clogged fuel filter, but now I think its something else. This morning I got it to start and run for a little while, but when I shut it off, it wouldn't start back up. Car has just about 150K, and I can hear the fuel pump, but whats with the battery light? No SES lights show up either.

Any insight on this?

Poured 2 bottles of ISO-HEET in it about 2 days ago. I have gotten it to start but it doesn't idle smooth or anything. It threw an SES code this morning when I tried I'll get the code later on.

At some point I did, I think. While I was away(January-Now) I had my dad start it up every week or so and let it run for a little bit, idk if that really means anything.

What condition is the coolant in? How often has it been changed? What does the oil look like?

I hope the LIM gaskets didn't give up on you while parked.

running the car doesnt do anything for the gas going bad, ive had better luck putting a bunch of stabil in it a battery tender and leave it alone.

Cool Solved

Turns out it was the MAF that was dying(this prob threw the battery light?) then it got worse and threw the SES light. Got that replaced+fuel filter+front VC gasket+SC oil change for around 425 today at this GM guys garage.
