A couple weeks ago the security system alarm would activate for no reason and my keyless remote wasn't working on my '01 bonneville, anytime the remote was in range the alarm would sound so I removed the battery from the remote and now more random alarms. Then a few days later the remote started working again until last night the alarm started turning on and off at random at 1:30 in the morning until I removed the remote battery. Is this a dying keyless remote?? I only have one remote at the moment.

At the least I'd say the remote has a sticking problem with the button. Have you removed the remote circuit board and cleaned it?
