Has anyone looked at the Tuner RT program (tunercat.com). They have a program which will work with the OBD1 system and the definition file for the 94/95 supercharged engines. They also have a link to a Prom emulator which allows you to download your computer into a laptop and then run the engine while connected to the laptop computer. You then have the option of changing virtually any operation parameters you want on the engine and some of the transmission operation also. Looks very interesting and I am thinking of ordering this setup for my 94SSEi. If any of you have had experience with this program good or bad I would like to hear about it.
Good find
No I havent heard or used it before but this may be a good option for the series 1 boys

edit: its free to try only $69 to buy

Willren: The program supports both the 92/93 and 94/95 Supercharged cars. They have different definition files for the 2 versions and the cost is 19.95 each. I think that the rom emulator works for the 92/93 versions also, but I may be mistaken. I will have to check that out some more.

From what I can see the 92/93 computers use a removable prom. The prom emulator plugs in place of the original prom and you can try out your changes on the fly. Then once you have what you want you can then reprogram a new blank prom or your original and plug it back into your pcm. You do not use the ALDL for programing on those years.
For the 94/95 OBD1 system, they have an interface which plugs into the ALDL socket on the car and then into the laptop. I think that I am on the right track with this info

That sounds right to me. My Jet PCM is a piggyback socket, with the OEM Prom plugged into it.
That'* gonna be a tight fit, getting that cable plugged into the prom port on a 92/93 with the PCM in place. It'll be a very delicate operation.
