okay so my missfire is due tot he fuel pump. scanned it and the long term fuel trim was at 23 and the short term hit 27 so my main question is i just filled the car today and want to run the tank down. is it safe to drive the car for a little while with the car running this lean

Don't be getting on it. You also risk the pump dieing all together.
