Default Removing steering wheel pad from 75 grand prix

I realize this sounds kinda lame, but... I have a 75 Grand Prix steering wheel and I need to get to the horn switch ,and that requires removing steering wheel pad, and I can't remember how it comes off. I haven't seen another one in 30 years or so, and I don't want to break it. I think you twist it off, but I'm unsure. Any advice...

For what it’* worth - I’ve been searching the net and discovered I have the same steering wheel that came in a 74 GP. I’m not sure if the same wheel came in the 74 and 75, so I’m unsure if I have the correct wheel to begin with. I have been unable to find a photo of a 75 wheel pad. I’m also missing the little plastic button that covers the retaining nut. If anyone has one, let me know.

Screws on the back side of the spokes were the norm back then.

Mine has a round padded ring. No screws. Similar to a 73 grand am.

I figured it out. Pop the small plastic button in the center of the pad. Unscrew the nut that hold the steering wheel to the column, and it lifts off. Kinda weird
