when im sitting at idle i can hear a ratteling sound from under the hood. dont exactly know what its coming from. now i noticed that my idler pulley moves alot while its ideling and my belt seams to be a bit chewed on one side. and the guy at work was telling me about the one on his car said it sorta sounds like ball bearings in a coffee can. thats sorta like what mine sounds like but not realy. maybe just 4 or 5 bearings. but i spoke with somone else and they said it might be the bearings in the nose of the supercharger. anyone have and idea???? at least its gonna be a free fix!!

You described a bad pulley for sure. Bring it in and post up the results..

Could be the harmonic balancer.

He'* not really describing the typical symptons for that. And mentions that he knows about a bad pulley..but states it'* under warranty..
