Default Pontiac making a comeback??

Quote:
If Pontiac is supposed to rise again like a phoenix, my guess is that Firebird would have been a better choice for obvious reasons. But, Iím just way too excited by the news to care about that. Furthermore, GTO nameplate is as iconic as a muscle car can get, and thereí* no way to deny that. So screw the word play, shut up and take my money.

At this point I don't want Pontiac back. And this is coming from probably one of the biggest Pontiac fans on here (I've owned 4 different ones and I'm only 24). If they were to come back now there would be too much hype followed by overly critical reviews all leading to a huge disappointment. Just let us rest in peace.

This is an April fool'* joke, you understand?

As for Pontiac, they let themselves get old......the same Grand Am, the same Bonneville, the same Grand Prix, Montana, Aztec, etc.

One good new vehicle they had, was the Vibe, which they really didn't promote...a small vehicle with ample room and good mileage.....maybe because it really was a Toyota....what the hell was up with that?

Then came the G4, G5, G6, G8....what the hell were they thinking?

Should have remodelled the Grand Prix and Bonneville and Montana, which had all grown stale, and developed a small car the market was looking for at the time....instead, it was..... oh, c, I have an idea.....the public couldn't grasp the idea of "G" cars......and people that wanted a sporty family car, were not going to make the transition from a Bonneville to a G8.......and the GTO? It was a joke.....They thought they could just attach those 3 letters to a vehicle, and somehow it would sell.....

The leaders of Pontiac shot themselves in the foot...

I wish GM would run more Holden stuff over here. V8 in the front, tires spinning in the rear, and less junk to break in between. Oh, and 4 doors too.

And we have had that twice, but they keep killing it.

I got to say when I saw that GTO photo I sure went WOW...
Pontiac can rest though, and I also wish GM would sell the holden products here.
The Holden Pk Ave ended in 2012, have not kept up on it.
Is the Caprice Holden still selling?
There may be hope one day that holden products will get worldwide sales in the future...

I mean, I owned two Bonnevilles and went directly from my last one to what'* in my sig now. So I kind of fail to see the logic here. Anyone who likes a big, sporty sedan will probably like both.
