likely got snow in something shorting it out, and when it melted it was fine. snow goes everywhere when you hit the bank, not something i would worry about in the future unless it starts happening again

Did GM hide defect from crash victims? - CNN.com Video

This is the same thing that had happened to me. My Pontiac Grand Prix suddenly stalled, power steering loss and was not able to press brake at all. Luckily I was able to stop the car ramming it into the heap of snow. Now, I am really worried. Can anyone suggest what should I do to be safe. Should I reach out to GM regarding the issue though it'* been like almost 2 months and it hasn't been repeated?
(Note: Before I was using the copied key(duplicate key) of master key and the key ring was heavy as bunch of other keys were attached in the key ring. Now I am using the master key and only two other light keys are attached to the same key ring)

still encountered the similar problem.
I would say add Grand Prix 2007 Sedan as well in the recalled list.

Well, all you have to do is look at your key and see if it moved form the run position...if it didn't could be any number of things, like a battery cable connection, crank sensor, ICM, MAF, etc.

Like I said, the ignition switch in a Grand Prix is not the same....
