No Start No Crank 2002 Bonneville SSEI
So, after washing my car, vehicle would not crank or start. All gauges fire up and battery is holding 12.5 amps. After 24 hours car started up fine and I drove if for a few miles. After a heavy rain today, no start or crank again. I suspect a ground failure. All battery posts and grounds are solid. Any help appreciated.

Had a similar problem with our 2001 SSEi. Ended up being the positive battery post cracked, internally, where the positive battery cable bolted into the battery. It made connections at times, not at other times. It is a quick check, just remove back seat bottom and pull on the cable, look for play. I know you have checked the posts, but might be worth a second look.

Thanks for posting the fix on your 2002 SSEi. We don't hear much about the starters failing on your SSEi, so it is good for other members and visitors to be aware.
